In a groundbreaking partnership, Bridges for Music and ULTRA South Africa have consistently pushed the boundaries in music upliftment. Over the past nine years, this annual event has raised funds to provide free skill development to over 200 students per year at the pioneering Bridges Academy in Langa, a beacon of creative education on the continent. In 2023 alone, the gala and fundraising campaign raised an impressive R1.2 million.
Valentino Barriosseta, the Founder and CEO of Bridges for Music, emphasizes the significance of the event: “This gala represents the ultimate culture of dance music, collaboration, and communion through music. For nine years now, Ultra has provided a platform for the music industry to unite, not only to party but also to raise funds to develop grassroots talent and build bridges into the creative economy.”
