Zeeho City Sport: Affordable Electric Supermoto for Urban Teens

KTM’s parent company, Pierer Mobility Group, has recently made headlines by acquiring a majority stake in MV Agusta. However, they are also set to introduce a new urban electric brand called Zeeho across Europe in 2024. As part of the Chinese firm CFMoto, Zeeho has been in existence since 2020 and has already sold over 10,000 electric bikes in their home market. Now, they are bringing three affordable electric offerings to the UK and Ireland this year.

The smallest of the trio is the Zeeho City Sport, priced at £2899. This electric supermoto offers performance equivalent to a 50cc moped and can be legally ridden in the UK by 16-year-olds. Sporting a stylish design targeted at a youthful audience, the City Sport features an LCD dash, phone mounting space, and powerful LED lighting.

Available in silver or black, the City Sport incorporates Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to start the bike remotely from their phones—a feature appealing to tech-savvy teens. Designed for silent urban travel, it boasts a claimed range of 49.7 miles at 24.8mph from its removable 60V 32Ah lithium battery.

Despite its compact size, the City Sport packs a punch, delivering a rated 2.4bhp with short bursts of up to 4.7bhp for overtaking maneuvers. It accelerates from 0 to 28mph in a claimed 4.1 seconds, propelled by its mid-mounted electric motor.

Equipped with single disc brakes, an automatic hill-holding system, and customizable battery regeneration settings, the City Sport offers a comfortable and intuitive riding experience. Its slim aluminum alloy frame, lightweight design (80kg), and soft suspension make it maneuverable through urban traffic.

During a recent press event, the City Sport showcased its agility on a technical slalom course, demonstrating its suitability for novice riders transitioning from e-bikes to motorcycles. However, its limited performance may limit its appeal to more experienced riders.

With impressive tech features for its price range, including an LCD dash, the Zeeho City Sport offers an attractive option for urban commuting and recreational riding for teens.
