Facelifted Haval H6 Breaks Cover and is Longer than Before

Summary:

  • Haval has unveiled the refreshed H6 with updates across the board.
  • The exterior boasts a new grille design, updated headlamps, and redesigned taillights.
  • The revised model is 50 mm longer than its predecessor, measuring 4,703 mm nose to tail.

Haval has pulled the wraps off the updated H6, revealing a host of enhancements both inside and out. While the exterior receives a fresh look, it’s the mechanical upgrades under the hood that truly stand out.

The exterior transformation includes a new grille design featuring the latest “Haval” badge and integrated headlamps with daytime-running lights. The former light bar taillight design has been replaced with separate rear lamps, adorned with “Haval” lettering between them. Additionally, the bodywork has been elongated, stretching the H6 to 4,703 mm in length.

Despite the visual changes, the powertrain options remain unchanged for now. Local variants are expected to continue offering a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a petrol-electric hybrid setup. However, the 150 kW 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox is rumored to receive a power boost of around 15 to 20 kW.

As one of the best-selling models in the GWM group’s lineup, the facelifted Haval H6 is anticipated to arrive in South Africa soon. While exact details regarding timing and pricing are yet to be confirmed, the current range starts from R492,050 for the Premium model and extends up to R679,950 for the HEV Ultra Luxury variant.
