Apple Ditches Apple Music Voice Plan: Siri Left Speechless

In a surprising plot twist, Apple has decided to pull the plug on its $4.99 per month Apple Music Voice Plan, leaving Siri sounding more like a heartbroken crooner than a virtual assistant.

This plan, introduced in 2021, allowed users to access the Apple Music library using nothing but the dulcet tones of their voices. But as of a recent Wednesday, it vanished from the lineup of Apple Music plans available on the Apple website, leaving us with a musical cliffhanger.

Now, if you’re currently rocking the Voice Plan, fear not; Apple isn’t leaving you in silence. They’re turning off the auto-renewal feature for you, like the music fading out at the end of a heartfelt ballad. But don’t fret; there are still more verses to sing. Apple suggests you switch to one of their other Apple Music plans, so you can keep grooving and moving to your favorite tunes.

With the Voice Plan silenced, Apple’s most affordable Apple Music option is the $5.99 per month Student tier. However, there’s a catch: it’s exclusively available to students. So, unless you can prove you’re majoring in musicology, you might need to dig deeper into your pockets to continue your musical journey.

But if you’re on a budget and still craving those sweet melodies, fear not! Amazon is still rocking its $4.99 Amazon Music Unlimited tier, allowing you to serenade the virtual jukebox from the comfort of one Echo or Fire TV device. Because when one curtain falls, there’s always another act waiting in the wings.

So, until the next musical interlude, keep on grooving, and don’t let the silence get you down!
